Datrium Got Citrix Ready Verification

Datrium, Inc., a provider of open converged infrastructure for private clouds, has been verified as Citrix Ready and the solution is available in the Citrix Ready Marketplace.

The Citrix Ready program helps customers identify third-party solutions that are recommended to enhance virtualization, networking and cloud computing solutions from Citrix. As part of the program, Datrium has completed a process to ensure its open convergence platform, Datrium DVX Rackscale is compatible with Citrix XenDesktop.

DVX is an important addition to the Citrix Ready program as it offers Citrix XenDesktop customers a flexible, simple and affordable solution for growing private cloud deployments. Citrix XenDesktop and DVX combine to provide a virtual desktop solution for simple administration, responsive desktop performance, server choice flexibility and cost-effective scaling of virtual desktop deployments. The Datrium approach also equips administrators with an environment to provision virtual desktops, accelerate applications, and protect and recover VMs, desktops, and disks.

DVX separates on-host IO performance and data services from off-host durable data, so speed and persistent capacity can each be provisioned independently, scaling resources with the addition of new compute or data nodes. This separation allows each host to remain stateless so can operate independently from others, allowing for flexible server choice, better resource isolation and availability.
