AccelStor 1U 3TB NeoSapphire P310 All-NVMe Array With FlexiRemap Technology

One million IO/s and 0.2ms latency using eight NVMe drives

AccelStor, Inc.‘s NeoSapphire P310 all-NVMe storage array marks company’s entry into the bleeding edge of storage technology.

NVMe SSDs bring advances in performance, low latency applications, so the company are combining this latest hardware platform into its FlexiRemap technology, bringing a solution into the market.

FlexiRemap is a proprietary OS, designed and built by the firm to leverage the advantage of SSDs over spinning disks, and now it will go one step further and unlock the potential of NVMe. It uses its remapping ability to reorder random data access into sequential, while also extending the lifetime of the drives by a factor of 300%.

The company have optimised the P310 to offer over one million IO/s*, and a sub 0.2ms latency using eight NVMe drives.

This makes the P310 for database, HPC, OLTP, VDI and multi-media applications. The firm already have a track record of accelerating database searches for applications such an ANPR, assisting the police in achieving a 185% decrease in time for running various search criteria. This latest product will be able to offer a performance, low cost and efficient storage solution into the enterprise storage market.

Police departments deploy thousands of surveillance IP cameras througout cities. These systems use license plate recognition software (ANPR) to identify the license plate and convert the data into MySQL database (over 100 million records). The police can use this system to track the path of a suspect and take any appropriate action. By using the company’s NVMe all-flash array, the tracking search time can be reduced to under 9s, even using a partial plate. The solution has been proven to help law enforcement improve its reaction speeds and track suspicious behavior efficiently.
