Pure Storage With “NVMe Now” Promotion

To trade-in Dell EMC VMAX or XtremIO

Pure Storage, Inc. announced the “NVMe Now ” promotion, which extends its Evergreen Storage program to all Dell EMC VMAX and XtremIO products.

Now through October 31, 2017, organizations using VMAX and XtremIO can take advantage of the same terabyte-for-terabyte trade-in program for Pure Storage customers with qualifying upgrade to the new, all-NVMe FlashArray//X.

With Evergreen Storage, Pure Storage customers can trade in older, less dense flash capacity for the latest, densest flash at any time. This Evergreen benefit extends to VMAX and XtremIO customers with a cost-effective on-ramp to Pure Storage. Customers may trade-in their VMAX or XtremIO terabytes for Pure Storage terabyte credits, which can be applied to new FlashArray purchases.

Just as he company does for existing customers, these terabyte-credits can be applied to offset up to 25% of the capacity purchased in any new FlashArray//M or FlashArray//X.

New versions of VMAX and XtremIO mean another round of generational forklift upgrades. The Evergreen Storage program eliminates the need for customers to re-buy storage every generation, for a TCO savings of close to 50% over six years,” said Matt Kixmoeller, VP of product, Pure Storage. “Pure Storage customers also benefit from products that are engineered to be fundamentally modular and field-upgradeable across generations, without disruption or data migration. Now, we are extending an Evergreen on-ramp to Dell EMC customers so they can begin to experience these same benefits.

FlashArray//X is the first all-NVMe, enterprise all-flash array from Pure Storage.
