German Cancer Research Center Once More Customer of Datadobi

Datadobi shared a recent customer success with their DobiMiner software suite.

The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) completed a successful migration project using DobiMigrate. As their environment continued to grow in size and complexity, they turned for another solution, DobiReplicate, to replicate over 1PB of data.

DobiReplicate enables customers to replicate their data to heterogeneous storage – on-premises, remote, or in the cloud – and allows them to rapidly recover the data or failover to the target system in case of site disaster.

“We were looking for a permanent replication solution from our Dell EMC Isilon cluster to IBM Sonas. Datadobi’s replication product DobiReplicate fits the bill perfectly,” said Tobias Reber, head of central systems, DKFZ. “We are very impressed with the accuracy, reporting, and support from the Datadobi team and most of all the speed of DobiReplicate. We replicated over 1PB of data in just 5 days.”
