Technology
Scale-out, Amazon S3-compatible object storage for enterprise data centers

Enables Hybrid Cloud

Products description
Cloudian HyperStore appliances are built on an object storage platform that is engineered to manage massive amounts of unstructured data, with near-limitless scalability, geographic independence, and multi-tenancy.

With features like object streaming and policy-based tiering, data moves seamlessly between users’ on-premises cloud and Amazon S3 or Google Cloud, regardless of object size. This hybrid cloud ecosystem lets customers leverage cloud infrastructure for long-term bulk storage while keeping most business critical data on-premises. Cloudian can also serve as a secondary on-premises backup target at a DR site.

HyperStore appliances are using commodity hardware. All with 10GbE networking, each model is integrated with HyperStore software to ensure limitless scalability, multi-data center storage and replication, automated data tiering to Amazon S3 or Google Cloud, and support for all Amazon S3 API applications – all behind user’s firewall. They include also erasure coding, multi-tenancy, encryption and compression.

HyperStore 1500: 1U, 12 hot-swappable 3.5-inch HDDs, up to 4x hot-swappable 2.5-inch SSDs, for 48,
