In 1Q17, Nakivo Gained 138% More Revenue Vs. 1Q16

NAKIVO Inc. announced its Q1 2017 results.

Named Top 20 Coolest Cloud Computing Vendors of 2016 by CRN, the firm is delivering a new way for cloud providers, enterprises, and SMBs to backup and replicate their VMware, Hyper-V, and AWS environments onsite, offsite, and to private/public clouds more reliably, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

  • Revenue: In Q1 2017, NAKIVO has gained 138% more revenue worldwide vs. Q1 2016. Most of the Q1 revenue (55%) came from the EMEA region, 36% came from the Americas, and 9% came from AsiaPac. The top three revenue producing countries were the United States, Germany, and Italy. The highest growth countries included South Africa with 15X growth, the Netherlands with 8X growth and followed closely by Canada, France, Hong Kong, and Ireland where revenue grew by 5X.
  • Customers: In Q1 2017, NAKIVO has gained 99% more customers than in Q1 2016. Most of the new customers came from the EMEA region (63%), while 27% came from the Americas, and 10% came from the AsiaPac. As of Q1 2017, NAKIVO has customers in 91 countries worldwide and has expanded into Mali, Ghana, Ethiopia, and Grenada for the first time.
  • Solution Partners: In Q1 2017, 198 new solution providers joined NAKIVO Partner Program and now offer NAKIVO products to their enterprise and SMB customers. The company now has over 1,700 software solution providers across the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle-East, and AsiaPac. Solution partners from Ethiopia, Algeria, Armenia, and Belarus have joined NAKIVO Partner Program for the first time.
  • Cloud Providers: NAKIVO’s Cloud Provider Program enables managed services, cloud, and hosting providers to introduce Backup-as-a-Service, Replication-as-a-Service, and DR-as-a-Service to their clients. In Q1 2017, NAKIVO has increased the number of qualified cloud providers to 148.
  • Product Releases: In Q1, NAKIVO has released v7, which includes support for Hyper-V 2016 and 2012, support for VMware v6.5, skip swap files, and Active Directory integration.
