NAB: Object Matrix Reseller of Sony Professional Solutions Europe

Object Matrix Ltd, a provider of object based nearline storage to the media and entertainments industries, announced a reseller agreement with Professional Solutions Europe (PSE), a division of Sony Europe Limited.

The two companies have been working together over the past year, delivering an integrated archive solution, which combines MatrixStore from Object Matrix with Sony Optical Disc Archive.

“As the media industry continues to evolve, with companies under increasing pressure to deliver more content to multiple platforms, there is a growing need for a secure, yet searchable archive,” commented Robbie Fleming, application specialist, Sony PSE. “By integrating MatrixStore into our archive solution, we are able to provide our customers with instant access to archived projects or library content, as well as ensuring BC.“

The agreement will see the resale of Object Matrix’s MatrixStore with Sony Optical Disc Archive technology across Europe. Companies throughout the region will now be able to purchase a complete archive solution through Sony PSE.

Object Matrix will be demonstrating its MatrixStore, along with Sony Optical Disc Archive at the NAB Show, from the 22 to 27 April, 2017.
