Italian Security Services Provider Mondialpol Decreased VM Backup Administration Time “by 20%”

Nakivo, Inc. announced that Mondialpol Service Group S.p.a., an Italian security services provider, has selected ts Backup & Replication to protect their VMware environment.

Mondialpol Service Group is a group of established and prestigious companies which offer a range of security services in Italy. Over the years, it gained an experience in the analysis and design of integrated security services, while also performing security management and supervision, CIT, and reception services for a number of banks, commercial, retail, and industrial groups. Mondialpol operates in nearly 20 provinces across Italy and has approximately 1,500 employees.

Data and applications that are stored in the several dozens of VMware VMs allow Mondialpol to provide its professional services and consulting to multiple industries. For the firm, data protection is key in ensuring delivery of uninterrupted services and protection for high value goods and business assets of their customers.

In the past, another backup solution was used to protect Mondialpol’s virtual environment, but the product was unable to meet the group’s data protection needs. Excessively long VM backup and backup administration times were common challenges that were unresolved, so it was time to move on to another backup solution that would guarantee performance and data availability at all times.
