CeBIT: Survey of 2,400 Users in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for Backup and Recovery – techconsult

Veeam Software AG has been named champion for backup and recovery in techconsult GmbH‘s user survey PUR 2017 Security Solutions.

The Professional User Rating (PUR) ranks Veeam as the leading provider among 19 vendors with top scores for excellent product performance and high quality of its solutions, including its Backup Essentials, Availability Suite 9.5, and Backup and Replication for physical and virtual IT environments.

Thec company is also ranked first for its innovation capability, with users emphasizing the company’s ability to develop innovative products, constantly improve their functionality and integration of third party technology.

About the survey
In 2016, techconsult conducted a total of 2,400 interviews with professional users from small, medium and large-size companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Of these, 514 user companies were interviewed solely on backup and recovery. Users were asked to specifically assess vendors and their solutions with regards to innovation, overall product portfolio, service and support, sales partners, online presence, pricing and licensing, as well as sustainability. The solution ranking included the categories satisfaction with the vendor, performance, functionality, user friendliness, solution benefits, and customer satisfaction. Veeam received top marks from users in all categories with outstanding results in the areas of innovation, overall satisfaction with the vendor as well as product depth and functionality.

The techconsult Diamond Awards will be presented at CeBIT 2017 in Hanover, March 20 to 24. The award ceremony will take place on March 22, 2017.
