DVD6C Licensing Group: Settlement With China Hong Kong Licensee SCE Co., Ltd.

The DVD6C Licensing Group (DVD6C), comprising nine leading developers of DVD technology, has reached a settlement of its claim against licensee SCE Co., Ltd. (SCE), a Hong Kong-based manufacturer.

The settled claim was brought by DVD6C authorized licensor Toshiba Corp. in New York State Supreme Court, New York County to collect patent royalties due from SCE under the DVD6C patent license agreement.
