Route1 Launched MobiEncrypt Smart Card Based Full Disk Encryption Technology

Route1, Inc. announced the launch of MobiENCRYPT, a hardware solution delivering remote and local full disk encryption (FDE) access that exceeds the stringent government and military privacy and security standards.

MobiENCRYPT enables a secure mobile workforce by leveraging identity card-based credentials to protect government organizations from data-at-rest loss and security breaches.

Part of company’s suite of patented security solutions, MobiENCRYPT integrates with government-issued CAC and PIV identity card technology, offering multi-factor authentication. The technology provides fast and seamless pre-boot authentication that allows government employees to access their workspaces quickly, without compromising on security. More affordable and secure than other hardware or software-only solutions, MobiENCRYPT enables a mobile and flexible workforce while protecting government-furnished equipment (GFE) from loss or theft.
