StorMagic, Inc. has signed Prianto UK and Prianto GmbH as authorised distributors in the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

The announcement builds on the momentum from StorMagic's channel partner program, its reseller recruitment drive across EMEA and a confirmation by the company's CEO that StorMagic has adopted a 100% indirect sales model - using its partners to fulfill all future orders of SvSAN.

StorMagic provides Prianto UK, Prianto GmbH and their channel partners with SvSAN, which eliminates the need for physical SANs and reduces server and software spend by 40%. This enables VARs to deliver HA, simple management and support with low TCO to their customers. In turn StorMagic gains access to a network of resellers that specialise in virtualisation technology, promote solutions and have a deep localised understanding of StorMagic's key markets.

"We are delighted to offer StorMagic's SvSAN to our reseller base. We genuinely believe that there is nothing similar on the market today and that the product is unmatched in terms of its innovation and its relevance to modern businesses," said Yuri Pasea, CEO, Prianto UK. "We are particularly attracted to StorMagic's SvSAN as it allows our partners to deliver the proven benefits of virtualisation technology to more cost sensitive SMEs and businesses with multiple remote office locations. This will be a massive benefit to new and existing customers, and has the potential to open up an entirely new revenue stream for us."

"This new distribution agreement with Prianto UK and Prianto GmbH will expand our reseller base and increase market awareness of our product in the UK, German, Austrian and Swiss markets. StorMagic's offering fits perfectly with Prianto's unique focus on innovative and complementary virtualisation technology and provides our channel partners with a commercial and technical edge in a highly competitive market," commented Hans O'Sullivan, CEO, StorMagic. "As such we are very happy to welcome both distributors on board and look forward to very long and successful working relationships."
