Permabit in De-Dupe for Enterprise SSDsBased on Albireo data optimization software

Both Albireo Software Development Kit (SDK) and Virtual Data Optimizer (VDO) now support enterprise flash technologies utilized in flash arrays, caching solutions (both hardware and software), and SSDs including both drives and PCIe solutions.
These flash solutions are the I/O performance leaders in the enterprise and designed to support applications such as database indexing, online transaction processing, desktop and server virtualization, front-end web serving, and key infrastructure offerings (such as email and messaging). With Albireo the cost of flash storage is reduced by 5-35x making it competitive with spinning disk, and it delivers cost for performance and capacity below that of traditional hard disk-based storage arrays. In addition, deduplication technology reduces the number of writes which increases flash life and reliability.
